Logan at the Dentist

Sample story

Logan stands in front of the big glass doors and looks up. The letters on the building spell out "Smile Clinic," and there's a giant golden tooth on the sign that sparkles in the morning sun. Logan's tummy does a little flip. "Ready?" Mom asks, squeezing Logan's hand gently. Logan takes a deep breath. The doors whoosh open, and a wave of cool, minty air rushes out. Inside, the waiting room is nothing like Logan expected. The walls are painted bright blue with fluffy white clouds, and there's a whole corner filled with toys and books. Soft music hums from somewhere above. A friendly woman with a rainbow lanyard leans over the counter. "Well, hello there! You must be Logan. We've been waiting for you!" She smiles so wide that Logan can see every single one of her perfectly white teeth. Logan's fingers tighten around Mom's hand, but something warm flutters in Logan's chest — something that feels a tiny bit like excitement. Then a door down the hallway swings open, and out walks a man in a bright purple coat, holding the biggest toothbrush Logan has ever seen...
